I think it depends on your position. If you feel Charter Schools are important, and that we should continue to expand Charter Schools that are doing great work with kids that really need better schools (like KIPP, Greendot, Aspire, WISH, etc.) than Steve is not the right person for the job. He has proven he is not interested in scaling high performing charter schools and he is making it very difficult for great charter schools to grow to serve more kids. See link below where he abstained to vote to grow a great charter school. Ask yourself why he wasn't willing to state his position on this. As the President, he should take a stance.by Laurie Crick
