I actually think it is reasonable and right to expect auto union bosses to worry about things like the styling, quality, sales and profitability of GM's cars. If they don't, then the company goes under and all the employees lose their jobs. Part of the problem is the lack of real communication, mutual trust and respect and consensus building. If CEO's and Union heads take an all or nothing, us vs them approach they both go down in flames eventually. However, I fully agree with you about the need for more transparent information and holding people accountable. Might need to add an "I agree and disagree" button to this ;)
