Have you toured a KIPP school or requested their performance results or reviewed their annual report they share openly? Or reviewed their public board data on academic performance, graduation rates, parent/student/teacher survey results, etc etc. The amount of data they collect and openly share is very transparent and counter to what you are reading from Diane and quoting here. See attached for your reference. I implore you to be open to the possibility that there are high performing charter schools doing great work for kids in very challenged neighborhoods, and that the people doing this work should be applauded and supported. If we stay focused on what is best for kids it Is easier.
