I appreciate this comment. Too many people are lumping all schools together without looking at individual schools. You can't say all charters are good or all are bad. Just as you can't say all district schools are either. We are tackling very difficult problems and we need to work together and learn from each other. This isn't a charter versus district battle, but instead an opportunity for all of us to work together to build upon what is working. There are many great charter and district schools and these need to be built upon. And poor performing schools need to be turned over to proven school leaders (including poor performing charters and district).
