You forget to mention that he also put in the A-G course requirements which strengthened the standards. To everyone who thinks that it was a bad idea to accept "D" grades for credit towards a diploma, I ask what they would have liked to have done instead. Would it have been better to deny students who have passed these classes a high school diploma? What would that do to their job prospects?by Carl J. Petersen
